Is YarnClient.getQueueInfo implemented in CDH5?
I have a 10 node cluster running and I was trying to experiment with Yarn API's. Following is the code (or a snippet version of it)...
Configuration conf = new YarnConfiguration() conf.set("fs.defaultFS", "hdfs://namenode-server:8020"); conf.set("yarn.resourcemanager.address", "resource-manager-server:8032"); conf.set("yarn.resourcemanager.scheduler.address", "scheduler-address:8030"); YarnClient yarnClient = YarnClient.createYarnClient(); yarnClient.init(conf); QueueInfo queueInfo = yarnClient.getQueueInfo("default");
yarnClient.getQueueInfo always returns null.... Is there anything in the Yarn Configuration I need to add?

What does the call to getAllQueues() return? The list of queues that you get should tell you if you have the default queue. Walk over the list of QueueInfo objects and call getQueueName() on the object to get the name.
