Hi, I am trying to add some default external jars so that the user does not have to type the query ADD JARS my.jar every time.
I have modified these 2 config properties in Cloudera Manager
HiveServer2 Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve) for hive-site.xml
<property> <name>hive.aux.jars.path <value>/usr/lib/hadoop-mapreduce/zookeeper.jar </property>
HiveServer2 Environment Advanced Configuration Snippet (Safety Valve)
This produces the result ERROR: HIVE_AUX_JARS_PATH is configured in Cloudera Manager as /usr/lib/hadoop-mapreduce/zookeeper.jar. However directory /usr/lib/hadoop-mapreduce/zookeeper.jar does not exist.
I am using a file from AUX_CLASSPATH to prove that the file actually exist, and hive knows about it.
I can reproduce this consistently on the cloudera demo machine and a cluster I have set up.
Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this issue? Or is there an alternative to adding jars at start up of hiveserver2?
Thanks for your time.
