Problem starting Cloudera Manager

Using cloudera director I am unable to start a manager instance I get the folloiwng error code, it is an ubuntu server

 

[2015-10-19 20:16:28] ERROR [pipeline-thread-3] - c.c.l.p.DatabasePipelineRunner: Encountered an unrecoverable error
com.cloudera.launchpad.pipeline.UnrecoverablePipelineError: Root partition resized failed (exit code 2)

Cloudera Director 1.5.x supports the following operating systems for cluster nodes: RHEL and CentOS 6.4, 6.5, and 6.6. If you are using d2 instance types we recommend RHEL 6.6.
