Not able to start any sessions from cloudera workbench

Hi,

 

I have installed cloudera workbench with spark2, It was installed successfully but when I am trying to start a session it is getting stuck on 'Scala session (Base Image v2) starting...'

Could you please help if is there any workaround for this please ?

Hi 

 

 

after intiating scala session ..go to terminal access cat /tmp/spark-driver.log

 

let me know error/exception you are facing.

 

please check your kerberos authentication for user configured in the cdsw

 

user-->settings-->Hadoop authentication-->check for kerbros ..If there is no ticket granted from kdc you wont get scala session.

Additionally, Could you please check if you are finding any suspicious log messages in "/var/log/cdsw/cdsw_health.log"

 

Also, could you please check if there is enough resources which you have requested for your session

We are also facing the same issue. Below is the error we are getting in Application Master :
