CDH 5.10/ Impala 2.7: impala queries monitoring does not show CPU information

Hello,

Since I have updated my cluster in CDH 5.10, I do not see CPU time anymore in Impala - Queries.

It has disapeared from the global view (I still have a Threads: CPU Time category, but it is empty).

It as also disapear from the query details.

Do you know if it is a bug or a configuration to set?

regards

Julien

Re: CDH 5.10/ Impala 2.7: impala queries monitoring does not show CPU information

I have a CM at version 5.8.2 and it only has the Threads: CPU Time category.

What version did you come from?

Based on the description in the doc I would say it is the same thing as what you are looking for.

"The sum of the CPU time used by all threads of the query."

Re: CDH 5.10/ Impala 2.7: impala queries monitoring does not show CPU information

I have two clusters, but both are lacking the CPU time used.

On the more recent, I have this parcel: 5.11.0-1.cdh5.11.0.p0.34

On the about of the cloudera manage, I have this:

Version: Cloudera Express 5.11.0 (#101 built by jenkins on 20170412-1255 git: 70cb1442626406432a6e7af5bdf206a384ca3f98)

But strangely, impala daemons are in:

impalad version 2.7.0-cdh5.10.0 RELEASE (build 785a073cd07e2540d521ecebb8b38161ccbd2aa2)

I was expecting impala 2.8. Maybe it is the cause of my issue?
