I am trying to install Cloudera Manager ( todaym 6-14-2018) and I get a failure directing me to look in /var/log/cloudera-mamgner-installer/3.install-cloudera-server.log. The message there shows 404 error because the5.14 rpms are missingat archive.cloudera.com. I looked at http://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/5/RPMS/x86_64 and saw that indeed that there are no 5.14 files are visible; only 5.15 files with a June 13, 2018 date. What is the way around this?

Cloudera is in the middle of moving things around in archive. You can manually install CM5.14 or wait and try the cloudera-manger-installer.bin file again later.
Sorry you hit this issue.

They are online here http://archive.cloudera.com/cm5/redhat/7/x86_64/cm/5.14.3/RPMS/x86_64/ But the cloudera-manager-installer.bin file won't point to them. You would need to manually download and install them.
Hope this helps,

If I manually download them, can you supply me with the commands to then install cloudera manager so that I can proceed with my installation ( just a single user "mini" install for testing.). I am new to Cloudera deployments and was depending on cloudera-manager-installer.bin to make this easy. Thank you.

Another thought: Can you direct me to an older 5.x version of clouder-manager-installer.bin that references a cloudera mirror that is available?

The cloudera-manager-installer.bin file will always install the latest version it can find. You cannot point it to an older version.
If you are just playing around and don't need a specific version of CM, run your cloudera-manager-installer.bin again, it should complete an installation.
