it looks like i should be able to suppress them by regex?

i want to avoid disk usage reports on

/nfs/

/nas/

/r/

i cant figure out the regex

CDMgr 5.3 and 5.4 if that matters

Re: How to suppress Disk Usage Reports

Hello Paul,

Can you clarify exactly which configuration property you're speaking of? Are you attempting to add directories to be excluded in 'Disk Device Collection Exclusion Regex'?

As an aside regarding the list of mounts you provided - do those all share the same characteristic of being NFS filesystem mounts as opposed to local?

yes.  these filesystems are mounted on my hosts for other reasons and i dont need/want CM monitoring them.

plus, they make the screen very messy

I ran into same issue. Did you find a way to suppress the filesystems?

Hi,

Any update on this issue? Is there a solution or workaround?

Re: How to suppress Disk Usage Reports

Hello,

Sorry, but at this time, there is no way to exclude or suppress the output.

I have asked that we (Cloudera) evaluate the inclusion of this feature in future releases.

This discussion is tracked in internal Cloudera Jira OPSAPS-27755 (not visible publicly).
