Trying to install Kafka on my new cluster, and I see the following error on restarting the Cloudera Manager.
2015-03-09 15:08:42,475 INFO main:com.cloudera.csd.components.CsdLocalRepository: Ignoring /opt/cloudera/csd/KAFKA-1.2.0.jar since associated handler does not exist
I've added the parcel path to settings (http://archive-primary.cloudera.com/kafka/parcels/latest/) , downloaded, distributed and activated it. I downloaded the CSD (http://archive.cloudera.com/csds/kafka-1.2.0/KAFKA-1.2.0.jar) and put it in /opt/cloudera/csd/. I restarted the management service a bunch of times, restarted the cm host, restarted the cluster. I think after all of that, I should see Kafka show up in my cluster's Add A Service menu.
Any idea of what I'm doing wrong here?

Hi Gautam, that would be great!
The version is: Cloudera Enterprise Data Hub Edition Trial 5.3.2 (#209 built by jenkins on 20150224-2005 git: b9d8345d937133103c4b0655924001dab91f9145)

I worked on this all day.
You need to enter
http://archive.cloudera.com/kafka/parcels/latest/ (you can find this by looking thru the descriptor json file in the csd jar)
as the remote parcel repo url.
after that kafka shows up in the available parcels.
but after download, distribute, and activate the kafka parcel, you still don't see kafka as a service for you to add. Anyone know what's wrong?
