[ Edited ]

I installed Sqoop2 by cloudera manager,but i get a problem as follows:

[root@cdhnode01 ~]# sqoop list-databases --connect jdbc:sqlserver://WDMYP6MPDEV01/SQLEXPRESS/MobileComm --username sa -P 14/03/05 16:03:26 INFO sqoop.Sqoop: Running Sqoop version: 1.4.3-cdh4.5.0

Strangely,I check the port 1433 is listenning and the firewall is stopped.

The sqlserver network TCP/IP is enabled and the TCP/IP port of IP All is set to 1433 too.

I don't know the reason , do someone know what's the matter, please tell me.Thanks very much!

Re: Sqoop listdatabase from sqlserver2008 R2 get a problem.

The issue is that the host CDHNODE01 is unable to communicate with the host WDMYP6MPDEV01 over the network over port 1433. This causes the JDBC driver of SQLServer to fail with the said message.

This problem lies outside of Sqoop. You can reproduce the said trouble even with a generic JDBC program that uses the same driver.
