365 Days??? for Cloudera Certified Professional: Data Scientist (CCP:DS)

The CCP:DS has been modified now to be 3 distinct exams. Seems like details of these exams are now available but the website says: "Each exam may be taken in any order. All three exams must be passed within 365 days of each other."

Does this mean that all 3 exams need to be taken within one year?

OR

Does this mean that the difference between each consecutive test can be a max of 365 days i.e. the clock resets each time I take a test?

Hi Ravi,

You must take and pass all three exams within the same year to become
certified in Data Science. The clock will not restart every time you take
one of the three Data Science Exams. Please let me know if you need
anything else.

Thanks,

Thanks Devon!

Do you have some more information on the structure of each of these exams?

  • I read that each exam is a challenge scenario - so what needs to be submitted per exam?
  • Are these exams based on multiple-choice questions?
  • What is the passing threshold?
  • How many questions are there in each exam?

Just trying to get some logistics squared up before I take the plunge. Thanks again!

Hello,

Per exam you will have to submit the results from your data analysis. These
exams are not multiple choice. In 701 and 702 there is exactly one question
but, in 700 there will be multiple sections. Please let me know if you
need anything else.

Thanks,

Thank you Devon!

So am I right to think of these as "Kaggle-ish" case scenarios? If so, then how are the answers being evaluated? I ask because, in the Kaggle competitions, the rankings are all relative to each other. I am guessing that is NOT the case here - so how are the submissions evaluated?

Do you have an example of what a question and a submission would be like?

Thanks for being patient with my endless barrage of nagging questions - Much appreciated.

Regards,
