Solr search shows empty list

[ Edited ]

Hello,

I've downloaded and started the Quickstart VM in VirtualBox, and started to execute the examples as explained here: http://blog.cloudera.com/blog/2013/06/quickstart-vm-now-with-real-time-big-data/

I started Solr, executed the batch-tweets-sh script, and everything worked as expected, up to the line where it says "click the Search It! link, and you will see all the data from the fake tweets we just indexed".

I see the line "Showing 1-15 of 2106 results, but the list is empty, just a button 'Next Page' that will get me to "16-30 of 2106 results", but equally empty.

I checked the page source, and found that there's a div with id="result=container", followed by a script that is meant to populate this div, but evidently that doesn't work.

Anyone got the same problem? Or better, a solution?

Thanks,

Leo

Re: Solr search shows empty list

OK, I've found the root cause myself: there is no template defined.

Is there a built-in template, or an example somewhere, to display the results as shown in the example?
