Unable to Configure JBOD in the Cluster

HI All ,

 

Due to hardware Limitation ,i am not able to Configure JBOD in 5 Node cluster .

Could any one help me ,instead of JBOD what i can configure to make the cluster .

 

 

 

 

Name Node : HP  DL 380 (HP Proliant DL380 G9 with 2 CPU Intel XEON E5-2640 V3 256GB RAM, 4 * 10 G NIC, 4* 8 GB FC HBA, 2 * 500W RPS, 4*300GB 10K Drives)

Data Node: HP SL 4500 (HP SL 4500 with 3 blades each with 2 * intel E5-2450v2, 128GB RAM, 10*6TB SAS Drives)

Please refer to our engineering blog on how to deploy hadoop clusters like a boss.

 

Scroll down to the "storage" section, and you'll see that in the absence of JBOD, individual Raid 0 volumes suffice. It might also help to check this out.
