I'm Greg and I've been working with computers in various capacities for about 30 years. From computer operator, to hardware tech, to some programming and currently in a System Admin role. My company put me into a Cloudera class that they taught themselves, I didn't get much out of it since it was geared towards developers and I'm more interested in the admin side of things.
Fast forward 2 years and now I'm being asked to look into getting the CCAH certification due to some upcoming contract bids. That brings me here.

My name is Dinesh, I am an aspiring entrepreneur from India. I am working on my own business model and felt that I could get my data analytics done in a easy way via Big data and decided to learn from the best. I am trying to setup and get a hands on experience with big data and its associated tools which would in turn help me with the certifications.

We are running Hadoop in production since since 2010, using it mainly for running our data processing components. Using Hadoop we have capabilites of processing 200M UGC posts per day, each going through indexing against our in-house built ontology + execution of 50+ NLP algorithms.
