We are pleased to announce the release of Impala ODBC v2.5.44. The release has the following fixes:
Resolved Issues in Impala ODBC 2.5.44
[00117025] [IMP-494] In some cases, when querying a table with a name that contains the suffix “_impala”, the driver truncates the suffix and then fails to query the table.
This issue has been resolved. The driver no longer automatically truncates the “_impala” suffix, ensuring that the intended table name is used in the query.
[IMP-504] The driver does not behave according to the Socket Timeout (or SocketTimeout) setting, and stops responding instead of returning an error when the server takes too long to respond to a request.
This issue has been resolved. The driver now returns an error if the amount of time taken by the server to respond to a request exceeds the number of seconds specified by the Socket Timeout or (SocketTimeout) setting.
