[ANNOUNCE] New Cloudera JDBC Connector 2.6.27 for Impala Released

We are pleased to announce the release of Cloudera JDBC 2.6.27 driver for Impala.  

This release has the following enhancements:

Enhancements and New Features

• [IMPJ-673] Updated log4j third-party libraries to 2.17.1
• [IMPJ-688] Updated Jackson library to 2.13.1

Resolved Issues

• [IMPJ-691] When close() is not called on the connection object, the connector prevents the JVM from exiting.
