hbase thrift

We running CDH 5.3 on a 5 node cluster and we loading data into hbase via thrift on 1 node in javascript

We would like to set up another data loader on a different node

All 5 nodes have the same configuration of thrift (framed hsha), hbase, yet the second node can only connect and see the tables structure, but none of the existing data.

What could be the problem?
is there a simple python script / java jar to test out hbase thrift on another node to rule out server config?

Re: hbase thrift

Could you clarify on what you mean when you say 'see none of the existing data'? Do you get an error, or do you get empty responses?

For some usable examples of Thrift clients, you can see the blog series at http://blog.cloudera.com/blog/2014/04/how-to-use-the-hbase-thrift-interface-part-3-using-scans/
