We have tried to integrated succefully running cluster with AWS Simple AD.

We have received below error after Simple AD integration.

DNS Resolution

October 14, 2016, 12:12 PM EDTTest of whether the hostname and canonical name for this host are consistent when checked from a Java process, and whether the host DNS resolution is done in a timely manner.

Bad : The hostname and canonical name for this host are not consistent when checked from a Java process.DNS_Resolution.jpgSimple AD - DNS Resolution

Please advice, what should be done here.

Will it be good to supress this warning and live with it ?

Or

Don't do Simple AD integration with CDH cluster.

Regards,

Kartik

Kartik,

Can you re-ask this question in the Cloudera Manager forum? It doesn't look like this is related to any Director configuration, but rather a DNS issue.
