Access Hive Via Knox using jdbc uri (seeting SSL=true). Kerberized enabled sandbox-hdp 2.6

Explorer

Hi, In our test environment we planned to access hive via knox. So the same I tried in hdp sandbox 2.6.x for poc. I have enabled kerberos and created CA and added to cacerts (for hive) . In Hive config page in ambari I have set ssl=true.

But when I tried to access hive using jdbc uri as below, I am getting below error message: Can anyone pls tell me what I am doing wrong here?

I tried all these commands to make sure If hive access is working with SSL=true, but I got error :

#1. beeline -u "jdbc:hive2://sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com:10000/;transportMode=binary;ssl=true;sslTrustStore=/etc/hive/conf/hive.jks;trustStorePassword='password';principal=hive/_HOST@sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com"

#2. beeline -u "jdbc:hive2://sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com:10000/default;ssl=true"

Error Message :

Error: Could not open client transport with JDBC Uri: jdbc:hive2://sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com:10000/;transportMode=binary;ssl=true;sslTrustStore=/etc/hive/conf/hive.jks;trustStorePassword=[PROTECTED];principal=hive/_HOST@sandbox-hdp.hortonworks.com: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (Connection refused) (state=08S01,code=0) )

Can anyone help me pls? once this runs I need to setup knox and check if I am able to access hive via knox:gateway.

regards
