hdp-dashboard-alet-errors.pngI have installed HDP 2.4 successfully and able to display all the services in the dash board but there are many alerts are displaying for each service. How to resolve these alerts ? Please find the attached screenshot and let me know your suggestions.

Hi @narender pasunooti,

Hadoop services are not seems to started in ambari. Please start all the services by using start all button in left side Actions menu.

You can try doing it from the menu below, which you will find under every service:

You have to click on Restart All

And repeat above steps by going into each of the service.

I hope this restarting the services will fix it.

You can try to start the services one by one. Few services seems to be running. For better understanding of why the other services are not started, try to start one service from Ambari like HDFS as most of the services depend on it.

See if HDFS service starts properly or if it fails check for log to find the reason. If it is then go ahead starting other services.

You getting alerts because, either those service are down or there status component is not fine.

1) Some time if "ambari-agent" is also not running, all nodes in cluster, you get this error. try to start agent by

#ambari-agent start

2) May service like Hive, Pig and Spark ....etc is down or up for each component.

3) If HDFS if you getting this alert, there is an issue HDFS storage and either mount point got filled or any node HDFS service is not running.
