Ambari Metric system stream metrics for retention to external system

As per the AMS Jira : https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-5707 the spec specifies an integration point to stream/export metrics to an external storage like OpenTSDB. Has this been done, or in the roadmap? I want to store the metrics generated by AMS in a graphite cluster for retention.

Super Guru

@Raghu Udiyar I don't have a direct answer but if you allow I can suggest alternative? ambari metrics are stored in hbase embedded on ambari server. You can use NiFi to pull data from table as it is upserted. out of box feature of getHbase processor here. Using nifi simply post the transaction (metric) to your target graphite cluster.
