Ambari - ambari/src/main path does not exist

Ambari - ambari/src/main path does not exist

Contributor

I am trying to create a cluster from Install Wizard shield, but during the confirmation of hosts, registration is failed with the server.

In the Ambari-server.log file, it gives host not found exception and errors in some of the java files like,

ClustersImpl.java

ConfigHelper.java

AmbariManagementControllerImpl.java

NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java

etc ... and some more

When I tried to access these files, I was not able to locate them.

It seems its path is in /ambari-server / src / main / java / org / apache / ambari / server / state / cluster

this path is no where in my system. I searched thoroughly.

Is there any other location, where i could find these above mentioned files?

Thanks

Sridhar

@Sridhar Babu M

Can you paste the error stack from ambari-server.log and also the UI error ?

The files mentioned are part of stack traces, which is the mechanism java uses for root-causing exceptions. You won't find them on a binary distribution.

@Sridhar Babu M you can access the source code through github - e.g. https://github.com/apache/ambari/tree/trunk. Depending on the version you are using you need to choose the branch (e.g. branch-2.2 at https://github.com/apache/ambari/tree/branch-2.2). In any case, if you share the stack that may help identify the issue.
