Apache Kudu support (CDP 7.1.7 Linux RHEL 8.2 ppc + IBM ESS)

Hello;

I am looking for application support matrix for the following combination:

• CDP 7.1.7, also we can install SP1
• IBM Power 9 servers
• Linux RHEL 8.2 ppc
• IBM ESS

Someone told me that Apache Kudu is not supported with IBM ESS, so I need your advice and alternatives.

Use-case: We are using Apache Kudu as columnar Data Store in De-normalized form which will be consumed by impala as a mediator to our data visualization layer (IBM Cognos).
