The DS certification page is really short on details. Is there any detailed information about the exam contents available - test exams, preparation materials, etc?
A listing of main subjects is really not good enough for $600 tests
The target for the exam is someone who has a solid practical working knowledge of machine learning and data science principles.
You don't need to know the inner workings of every algorithm, but you do need to have good working knowledge of a representative set
and know when to use which. Also important is knowing how to validate your results.
Compared to the challenge, the exam problems should be roughly the same difficulty, except that you get to focus on a single problem
at a time, instead of having to pass all three problems as a bundle.
Hi Devon Michaels
Please could you provide reference of blog who has passed following certificate ? It will be really helpful.
Sorry to say, the information given for the new data scientist exams site are very less.
What is the passing crieteria of these exams? How the exam answers are evaluated?
It will be very helpful to provide some sample questions and solution set to understand the exam format.
The DS700-702 problems are very similar to the previous challenge problems, so looking at the solution kit link I posted earlier will give you a
good idea of what you're up against.
The problems are each evaluated by criteria appropriate to the topic. It might be accuracy, AUC, average precision, F1 score, or any number of
The link for the Data Science certification study guide seems to be broken. I would like to study for
this certification. Can you please recommend where I can find this information.
I think the note above was referring to DS 'study guide' link and not the CCP-DS certification details link.
This link seems to be broken, could you please suggest where can we find the study-guide link as mentioned by the CCP- Data Scientist in response to the exam preparation question (How did you prepare for the Data Science Essentials exam and CCP:DS? What advice would you give to aspiring data scientists?) on the vision.cloudera blog
