I am curious as the current version is CDH 5.4. Is there a particular reason why you want such an old version?

One of our customers is using CDH 4.6 and we need to test our application
with it. Sigh!

Never mind guys - we just sucked it up and installed CDH 4.6 on few VMs.

Ah, I get you. I think you chose the correct route as the Quickstart VMs have a very specific purpose that might not align with your project.
