I have downloaded cloudera-manager-installer.bin and launched it on Ubuntu 14.04.01 LTS. During the installation a process called ibus-ui-gtk3 started canibalizing my RAM (reached 10.6 GB out of 16 GB) and everything ground to a halt. The installer did not recover after killing the process, just stayed frozen. Given this event never happened before, could the CDH installer be the trigger for the missbehaviour? This process is related to intelligent input bus (has to do with multilanguage keyboard input).
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
