CDH 5.7 daemons not starting up from UI

I have installed cloudera Manager for single node setup for cdh 5.7.0 ,

When I try to start the daemons using the UI, i get error whsile starting namenode, saying saying the namenode.directory is not accessible.

but when i start the daemons from cmd line they start up without any error.

Kindly assist.

What command are you using to start the NameNode daemon from cmd line?

Are you seeing any issues listed in the Host Inspector [1]?
