Hi All,

 

I am new in hadoop. when i am tring to install cloudera manager using intaller it shows "refreshing repository metadata failed cloudera". here i am posting log also.

Try

sudo rm -rf /var/lib/apt/lists/*
sudo apt-get update

This appears to be an apt-get issue that has many possible causes.

Seems like web searches return lots of sites and threads elsewhere with other considerations and solutions, too.
