Calculating remained space quota with hdfs count command

Calculating remained space quota with hdfs count command

Explorer

I can get quota information with <hdfs dfs -count> command.

The result is as below:

USER@HOST:~:$ hdfs dfs -count -q -h -v hdfs://SOME_PATH
       QUOTA REM_QUOTA SPACE_QUOTA REM_SPACE_QUOTA DIR_COUNT FILE_COUNT CONTENT_SIZE PATHNAME
      97.7 K 73.5 K 20 T 18.0 T 7.6 K 16.6 K 656.9 G hdfs://SOME_PATH

I that that {SPACE_QUOTA - CONTENT_SIZE} would be {REM_SPACE_QUOTA}, but it doesn't go like this.

What I thought was:

space quota: The maximum size of files under the path.

remained space quota: The maximum size that can be stored more under the path.

content_size: The summed up file size under the path.

What is wrong?
