Cannot find configuration directory: /etc/hadoop/conf.cloudera.mapreduce1

New Contributor

Working with the express VM.

Somehow the /etc/hadoop/conf.cloudera.mapreduce1 is not there.

Why? What can I do?

Super Collaborator

Are you using MRv1 or YARN (MRv2) service; can you show me the output for the following bash command

# alternatives --display hadoop-conf

Try adding a gateway role for that node [1][2]
