I'm going to setup a new cluster. Is it safe to configure the nodes with Ubunto 16.04? The official cloudera documentations all says that cloudera manager and CDH both only support 14.04 and 12.04.
Did You got any information regarding cloudera installation on Ubuntu 16.04.
I tried to install on ubuntu 16.04 but its show " your distribution is not supported ".
Is it supported already?
If not, when is the plan, i.e. when the distribution will be ready to download/install?
With the Release of CDH 5.11 there are 16.04 packages. I don't know if it is officaly supported yet, because it is not mentioned in the Release-Notes
I am trying to install 5.11.0. I get this error:
