Hi There,

I have a running cluster, is it possible to enable Cloudera Manager HA mode now? Or it should be configured during the initial installation?

Thank you.

Yes. You can enable the HA after you built your cluster

Thank you for the reply Sandy, I need to run the cloudera-manager-daemons cloudera-manager-server on the server and perform all the steps as describe on Cloudera Documentation?

I am not sure which document you are exactly following.

But you have to delete you cloudera manager service ( which loses all its data from host monitor) if your storage is local and other node of you server daemon.  I would suggest to go for a fresh HA installation of cloudera manager as its easier.

Thanks for the reply sandy05, indeed, after much consideration, it might be easier to install a new HA.
