Re: Cloudera Manger,Hive

Hi,

It sounds like your hive binaries are not installed correctly.

How did you install CDH?

Make sure that the ddl files for mysql exist in the hive lib dir, at {$HIVE_LIB_DIR}/scripts/metastore/upgrade/mysql/

If using packages, this is under /usr/lib/hive. If using parcels, this is under /opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH/lib/hive.

You may want to run the host inspector to check for errors. You can run it by clicking on the Hosts tab then clicking the button to run the host inspector.

Thanks,

Darren
