The new front end for Oozie is highly dynamic and has a lot of different states. Often times, the Hue server replies with a stack trace and is available in the Javascript console of your browser. Could you please provide the response from the save request in the Javascript console?

In Chrome, you can type CTRL+ALT+J (or Command+ALT+J if you're using a Mac) to bring the Javascript console up. For firefox, you can type CTRL+ALT+K (or Command+ALT+K if you're using Mac). To see the response body in Firefox, you may need to right click and check "Log Requests and Response bodies".

The API request should look something like this: http://<fqdn or localhost>:8888/oozie/workflows/1/save.

Re: Cloudera Oozie editor

In Chrome, you can click on the 'workflow/save' request which should be in red.

In the aove log it is a warning, do you have something with 'error'?

Could you check the name of the action, it does not support spaces for example.

crome gives me this error:

ctrl+shift+j in console

POST http://localhost.localdomain:8888/oozie/workflows/46/save 400 (BAD REQUEST)

http://localhost.localdomain:8888/static/ext/js/jquery/jquery-2.0.2.min.js

I don't know how to solve this problem help me in this case.

Re: Cloudera Oozie editor

Can you click on the POST workflow/46/save request and look at the error in the inspector?

Did you check the names of the action?
