Cloudera Science Workbench Installation: Block device?

Cloudera Science Workbench Installation: Block device?

Explorer

Currently trying to wrestle through the installation error error:

Setting up docker storage.

ERROR:: Entries in DOCKER_BLOCK_DEVICES must only be block devices: [/dev/sdg]: 1

ERROR:: Unable to create storage for docker.: 1

Working within Azure:

1) added a new disck (1TB) just for docker:

sdg
2) didn't mount (per instructions)

3) referenced as "/dev/sdg"

Not sure what's causing the error.

Is there a workaround?

@GaryS  Can you provide the output of "lsblk" command from the CDSW master host, Also is this CSD installation or RPM based installation?

Installation attempts via altus.
I setup the free block devices via Azure's console (and later script)

Never did get CSW to install. Will revisit in the near future.

Sure, you can always refer the hardware and disk (Block device structure) requirements on the link.

@GaryS If that resolves your issue, please spare some time in accepting the solution. Thanks.
