Cloudera manager api to get health history of a particular service

New Contributor

Hi There,

I am sarching for an api using which I can fetch health history of a particular service. I want to use the json data which I'll get from that API to show when a particular service went down / concerning. I will be parsing the data in java.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Tarun Jangid

If I understand correctly, you are looking for an _Event_ record, "Cloudera Manager Events"

"An event is a record that something of interest has occurred – a service's health has changed state, a log message (of the appropriate severity) has been logged, and so on..." [0];

You can filter events for historical health events navigating to CM> Diagnostics> Events, you can also use the CM API to query events in the system [1].

Let me know if this helps.

Best,

Michalis
