Cloudera platform set up for CCA175 exam

New Contributor

Hi Team,

I had registered for the CCA 175 exam. if I wanted to set up the same exam environment (CDH6 (currently 6.1.1) cluster pre-loaded with Spark 2.4.+all other components ) locally in my mac os in order to practice , what is the option for that. I have learned that cloudera doesn't bundle quick start vm for  6.x versions.

Hi there,

The most recent VM-based installation of CDH, called Cloudera QuickStart VM (not sandbox) was based on CDH 5.13, and was outdated and nearing the end of support, so it is no longer available for download. Just going on the information available on this page, (scroll down to Exam delivery and cluster information), it looks like CCA175 is based on CDH 6.1.1, which is much more recent. You can download CDH 6.1.1 by using this page.
