Cluster Installation failing

Cluster Installation failing

Explorer

Hello,

I was trying to install cluster on the Cloudera Manager and it doesnt seem to proceed after step 6 on the CM console. Tryed different options but it didnt work. Could you respond if you have seen this issue or solution. Below is the error. Even though selected parcels and gave the correct path where the parcels exist it shows as:

Versions of CDH that are too new for this version of Cloudera Manager (5.7.0) will not be shown.

Note: No parcels found from the configured repositories. Try adding a Custom Repository under More Options. Otherwise, you may only proceed with Use Packages.

Thanks in advance!

It looks like you are trying to install a CDH version that is higher than the CM version of 5.7.0.  CM prevents you from doing this now.

Hello Truonala,

Even after placing new CDH version lesser than 5.7 still we still see the same error reported earlier.
We currently have CDH-5.6.1-1.cdh5.6.1.p0.3-el7. Thanks for your suggestion.

Hello,

That version of CDH is the highest CDH 5.6.1 version released.  Are you trying to install CDH5.7.0?    What URLs show in your

Remote Parcel Repository URLs
settings.

Those settings will determine all the versions supported, that are higher than the one you have installed, based on your CM version when running the CDH Upgrade wizard.
