Clusterdock start error on OSX

New Contributor

Following the instructions here:

https://blog.cloudera.com/blog/2016/08/multi-node-clusters-with-cloudera-quickstart-for-docker/

On OSX High Sierra 10.13.3

Docker images are downloaded but I get the following.

clusterdock_run ./bin/start_cluster cdh

docker: Error response from daemon: OCI runtime create failed: container_linux.go:348: starting container process caused "process_linux.go:402: container init caused \"rootfs_linux.go:58: mounting \\\"/etc/localtime\\\" to rootfs \\\"/var/lib/docker/overlay2/84d8e53c0e91bfc2181b1c05617f88f7e1f85e21528b2f03da7bf379f10749e0/merged\\\" at \\\"/var/lib/docker/overlay2/84d8e53c0e91bfc2181b1c05617f88f7e1f85e21528b2f03da7bf379f10749e0/merged/etc/localtime\\\" caused \\\"not a directory\\\"\"": unknown: Are you trying to mount a directory onto a file (or vice-versa)? Check if the specified host path exists and is the expected type.

The hostpath /etc/localtime does exist, and via sym links maps to /private/var/db/timezone/zoneinfo/Europe/London on OSX

I have tried all sorts of combinations including replacing in the clusterdock_run function as per below

-v /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime \

with

-v /private/var/db/timezone/zoneinfo/Europe/London:/etc/localtime \

Any clues?
