Connection to Impala Failed

Explorer

I've setup Cloudera Live instance on AWS and that works successfully now.

But when I connect to Impala via Cloudera ODBC Impala driver it throws this error - not sure how to resolve this?

Used ODBC Administrator to configure the connection to Impala daemon server

FAILED!

[Cloudera][ImpalaODBC] (100) Error from the Impala Thrift API: connect() failed: errno = 10060

thanks

Suresh

Thanks for your quick reply.

I am new to cloudera so now not sure whether the below provided information is the desired one requested from your side.

1) I have installed cloudera imapala in a virtaul box. I can create data tables in it inside the database - "default".

2) The virtual box is present on my local machine and when I am trying to access it, it is throwing me the error message -

FAILED!

[Cloudera][ImpalaODBC] (100) Error from the Impala Thrift API: connect() failed: errno = 10061

I was able to figure out the things. I was using the wrong ip. Everything is working fine for me.
