Coudera Private cloud trial use only on home lab PC

Hello Friends,

I would like to install and learn Cloudera Private cloud on my home PC.

Intel i7, 32GB RAM and a couple of SSDs.

Can anyone let me know if this is possible and if YES, some guidelines how to get it done?

Hi @Plascio , It should be possible by using the CDP trial versions. Please go through this document and you can try the setup after verifying the requirements for OS and network.

I went through the docs. Wasnt able to find minimum RAM for the nodes. If I were to create to create 3 VMs for nodes, will 4GB be enough?

Also, will 8GB be bare sufficient for the main Cloudera manager node?

Asking this, as I will be using VMware workstation 15.5 on Windows 10 Pro.

Need to get the memory correct for the cluster machines.
