Create Cluster Error: There are missing nodes from saltbootstrap

Create Cluster Error: There are missing nodes from saltbootstrap

New Contributor

Trying to create a Hive LLAP Cluster using CloudBreak 2.7 (just set upped on Azure).

Trying setting up CloubBreak VM using both way (with the help of Template and Manual Installation).

Getting below error:

java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: com.sequenceiq.cloudbreak.orchestrator.exception.CloudbreakOrchestratorFailedException: Failed: Orchestrator component went failed in 7.583333 mins, message: There are missing nodes from saltbootstrap: [Node{privateIp='X.X.X.27', publicIp='X.X.X.27', hostname='', domain='null', hostGroup='master', dataVolumes=null}, Node{privateIp='X.X.X.28', publicIp='X.X.X.28', hostname='', domain='null', hostGroup='worker', dataVolumes=null}] 6/25/2018, 6:25:45 PM

Can anyone help what could be the reason or where to find more details? I am using LDAP for Node Authentication.

Hi @Shashwat Tripathi,

If you can't find any more details in the Cloudbreak logs you should check the Salt minion logs on the vms: /var/log/salt/minion

You can find more information about logs here:

https://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Cloudbreak/Cloudbreak-2.7.0/content/trouble-cb-logs/index....

I think you should check the Ambari server logs too, as if it is LDAP related you might find there some extra information.
