Hi Everyone,

Currently we are using Ambari 2.7.X version of hadoop setup.Since Cloudera stopped free versions.

My question is Shall we setup new  Apache Hadoop for 3 or 4 node cluster without using Ambari or CDH for Production? Is it possible?

@Narendra_ No, For production purposes you have to buy subscription given that Cloudera software can’t be setup without using Ambari and Cloudera Manager and you can’t effectively monitor the cluster. 

You can install Hadoop Open Source version (Vanilla) but you are on own and will not get any Cloudera Support on that.
