If you want to connect to the VM from your host machine or another machine,
you'll need to make sure that the VM's network device is changed to support
that. By default it's usually a NAT device, and you'll want to change it to
a Bridged device or another option that allows the kind of access you want.
You'll also need to make sure that quickstart.cloudera is mapped to the
right IP address in the hosts file on the machine you're connecting from.

VIrtualBox and VMware offer another option: they both allow ports on your
host to be forwarded to the VM. This should be set up already on
VirtualBox, but it must be set up by you for VMware if you want to use that
option.
