Hi,

To add an existing cloudera manager (only) to director, you have to set it up via the config file, using bootstrap-remote, and specify the IP address of your existing CM.

cloudera-manager {
  configs {
    CLOUDERA_MANAGER {
      # host: REPLACE-ME # with IP address of CM server
    }
  }
}

However, you cannot bring in existing CDH clusters into Director, even on the above Cloudera Manager. Clusters have to be created via Director only.
