Failed to start cluster exception

Failed to start cluster exception

New Contributor

I am trying to run CDH5 using clusterdocker.

My machine runs Ubuntu 16.06 and has 16 GB of memory.

I use the command

clusterdock_run ./bin/start_cluster cdh

to run two-node cluster.

However, when the terminal reads

INFO:clusterdock.topologies.cdh.actions:Starting cluster...

it throws an exception like this

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./bin/start_cluster", line 70, in <module>
main()
File "./bin/start_cluster", line 63, in main
actions.start(args)
File "/root/clusterdock/clusterdock/topologies/cdh/actions.py", line 154, in start
raise Exception('Failed to start cluster.')
Exception: Failed to start cluster.

Has any one run into similar situations and could you provide some suggestions?

Please also let me know if there is more info I shoul supply.

Thanks so much for the help.

I think the issue was resolved for me.
