Flume/Flafka Kafka Channel & proper deserialization of Flume events

Explorer

We've got flume Events being published to a KafkaChannel and we're
wanting to pick those up in a KafkaSource for further processing.  It
seems that the Events coming across the channel get wrapped in another
event inside the KafkaSource though.

We are looking for a "parseAsFlumeEvent" flag of some sort but the
source seems to just blindly wrap everything in a new Event. So, we
wonder if we're going about this wrong?  Are folks writing interceptors
that unwrap the events?  or what?

Thanks
