Getting error "number of running queries 20 is over limit 20" in Impala while executing a query through ODBC/JDBC.

 

The complete error is:

 

For ODBC Error - ('HY000', '[HY000] [Cloudera][ImpalaODBC] (110) Error while executing a query in Impala: [HY000] : Admission for query exceeded timeout 60000ms. Queued reason: number of running queries 20 is over limit 20 (110) (SQLExecDirectW)')

 

For JDBC error :

Are there supposed to be 20 queries running concurrently on this system? In Cloudera Manager under Clusters -> Impala Queries, check if any queries have been running for an excessively long time.
