Hi
Need help regarding adding host in CDH cluster
We are using kerberised Cloudera 5.14.0 , we have installed cloudera manager agent, java and other prereuisite on the host and then we are trying to add host through the CM UI ->Add host wizard so it is distributing parcels on host and also host monitor run fine but in next step it is showing deploying krb5.conf and it get failed with massage 'unable to deploy krb5.conf'
We have copied krb5.conf file from the other host which currently running in our cluster.
Can someone please suggest any configuration changes that i should check or change

Hello @Shahezad
Check if any service is running on the new host, if so stop the services and retry again.
* Check for the agent logs on the new host
* Check for the CM server logs on the CM server that will provide additional information about what is failing.
* Also check for the following bug that applies to CM 5.X
(Cloudera bug: OPSAPS-38704)
>> After upgrade to Cloudera Manager 5.x, client configuration deployment fails with the following error: "/var/lib/alternatives/hadoop-conf empty!"
