Does anyone has any best practice document to implement multi tenancy on HBase?

Re: HBase multi tenancy Best practice

I'd recommend you refer to the Apache HBase Book and then clarify your question with specific questions. Your original question is a bit too broad to give any useful advice.

My focus is security and performance as this has always been a challange in any multi tenant environment. I wanted to check, if someone has prepared any lesson learned kind of document with some dos and don'ts.

Those are still both rather vague topics :). Maybe you can clarify based on how you plan to use HBase and recommendations could be given based on your specifics. Without any insight into what your requirements are, it's hard to give guidance.

Hello,

I'm also interested in implementing multi-tenancy on Hbase, for instance being able to isolate table among differents users, and to be able to do some accounting (identify clearly the space used / cpu consummed, etc...)

Any idea ?

thanks in advance.
