HBaseMapReduceIndexerTool: File Not Found

HBaseMapReduceIndexerTool: File Not Found

New Contributor

I installed CDH5.1.  Trying to use HbaseMapReduceIndexerTool.  In the dry-run mode, it works fine. When I switched to go-live, it reports the following exception:

WARN security.UserGroupInformation: PriviledgedActionException as:root (auth:SIMPLE) cause:java.io.FileNotFoundException: File does not exist: hdfs://XXXX:8020/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.1.0-1.cdh5.1.0.p0.53/lib/hadoop-mapreduce/hadoop-mapreduce-client-core-2.3.0-cdh5.1.0.jar Exception in thread "main" java.io.FileNotFoundException: File does not exist: hdfs://XXXX:8020/opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH-5.1.0-1.cdh5.1.0.p0.53/lib/hadoop-mapreduce/hadoop-mapreduce-client-core-2.3.0-cdh5.1.0.jar

I could access this machine, and tried  hadoop fs -ls hdfs:/xxxx:8020/,  it has not /opt. However, it does have /opt/cloudera/parcels....    Did I mis-configure something?   Thanks.

Master Guru
Can you ensure you have MapReduce and/or YARN Gateway config files
properly deployed on the host you are executing this on? Your
/etc/hadoop/conf/mapred-site.xml and (if you use YARN)
/etc/hadoop/conf/yarn-site.xml files must be carrying proper values to
be able to run a remote job and bypass this error (that comes from the
local job runner).
